How it works on the skin
Zinc oxide is a mineral sunscreen: its particles remain on the skin's surface and reflect, scatter, and absorb some of the ultraviolet radiation (UVB and UVA) before it penetrates. It is in nano form, as indicated on the official label with the word [nano]: the reduced particle size allows for a fluid texture that leaves less of a white cast.
Sunflower and coconut oils soften the skin and allow the product to spread evenly. Gelidium sesquipedale extract (Alga-Gorria®) and vitamin E protect the formula from oxidation.
Sunscreen forms a layer of filters on the skin that reduces the amount of ultraviolet radiation that reaches it. None offer complete protection, nor do they replace shade and clothing. However, applying it in sufficient quantity and reapplying it frequently can help protect the skin during sun exposure.
Ingredients and active ingredients of the formula
These are the most relevant components of the formula:
- Zinc oxide [nano]: mineral sunscreen.
- Organic sunflower and coconut seed oils: They soften the skin.
- Gelidium sesquipedale extract (Alga-Gorria®): red algae from the Basque coast.
- Tocopherol (vitamin E): protects the formula against oxidation.
Their role is cosmetic: they protect and care for the skin during sun exposure.
How to use and features
application instructions
Spray the product into the palm of your hand (5 or 6 pumps per area) and spread it generously and evenly over the skin before sun exposure.
- Do not spray directly onto the face: apply it with your hand.
- Reapply frequently, at least every 2 hours and always after bathing, sweating or toweling off.
- Shake the container before using.
Precautions: Do not stay in the sun for extended periods, even while using sunscreen. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Overexposure to the sun is a major health risk. Applying an insufficient amount significantly reduces the level of protection. Avoid sun exposure between 12:00 and 16:00 or protect yourself with clothing, a hat, and sunglasses. No sunscreen offers complete protection. Do not inhale: spray into your hand and then apply to your skin. Contains perfume and vanillin: if you are allergic to any fragrance component, do not use. Contains coconut oil. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. For external use only.
