How it works on the skin
A syndet is a soap-free cleanser: instead of alkaline fatty acid salts, it uses mild synthetic surfactants (disodium laureth sulfosuccinate and sodium cocoamphoacetate) in a formula adjusted with citric acid to a pH close to that of the skin. They remove dirt with moderate detergent power.
PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate and PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate are superfatting agents: they leave a small amount of lipid on the skin during washing. Laureth-9, also known as polidocanol, completes the formula. That's why sensitive skin doesn't feel tight after showering.
