How it works on the skin

The base of the soap is salts of vegetable fatty acids (sodium palmate and palm kernel). When rubbed with water, they form lather and surround the grease and dirt on the skin so they are washed away.

Glycerin and sweet almond oil help prevent skin from feeling tight after washing. Bitter almond oil provides the characteristic sweet aroma, and essential oils of clary sage, camphor leaf, and cedarwood give it a herbal and woody base.
