Altea is a citrusy floral fragrance with a feminine character. Like all alcohol-based perfumes, the aromatic composition is dissolved in alcohol and water: when sprayed, the alcohol evaporates in a few seconds, leaving the fragrance molecules on the skin.
These molecules don't all evaporate at once. The lightest ones form the top notes that you perceive at first; then the heart notes appear, and finally the base notes, which are the ones that last the longest and form the trail.
The duration depends on your skin type, the temperature, and the area where you apply it. Drier skin retains fragrance less, so applying it after an unscented body lotion helps it last longer.
