How it works on hair
The surfactants in the formula (coco-glucoside, derived from sugars and coconut oil, and cocoyl glutamate, derived from an amino acid) bind to oil and product residue on the scalp, allowing water to wash them away, thus removing less of the scalp's own lipids than sulfates. Glyceryl oleate and glycerin help prevent dryness of the hair and scalp.
By removing excess sebum with gentle surfactants, the roots appear clean and the hair regains volume without drying out the ends. Lemon balm and nettle extracts complete the formula, and betaine helps maintain hair hydration.
Shampoo works on the surface of the scalp and hair. It doesn't alter the hair growth cycle or replace medical treatment. However, consistent use can help keep roots looking clean for longer and hair appearing fuller.
